FAQs

The Gordon League is a student-led 5-a-side football competition based at The Gordon Schools. It aims to increase participation in sport, improve school engagement, and provide a fair competitive environment for pupils.

The league is accessible to all students from S1 to S6, regardless of their football experience. Whether you're a regular player or new to the sport, everyone is welcome to join in the fun and competition!

Teams are primarily organized by registration class to ensure fairness and inclusivity. This makes it easy for students to participate and foster friendly competition among peers.

Matches follow a standard 5-a-side format, consisting of two 15-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime break. Rolling substitutions allow for all players to get game time during the matches.

Students can engage in various supporting roles, including becoming student referees, match commentators, media and photography team members, and logistics support, allowing them to develop valuable skills.

Funding and administrative support are provided by The Huntly Business Man Group. Any funds raised are used solely for league-related expenses, ensuring transparency and accountability in operations.
